I once started trying to write notes in a word processor that would tell me where I placed inportant papers, receipts and other very inportant documents. Then it would take forever for me to find where I had saved the notes and what I had named them. So, I decided to write this little program.
I keep a shortcut on my desktop and use it most every day.

Anything I want to remember is stored in alphabetical order and takes me about a second or two to find. I simply double-click or press the "Open" button and immediately it's there. All phone numbers, family members birthdays, doctor's appointments, where I placed the title to my classic car, what I am supposed to do on a certain date, dates when bills are due, addresses and phone numbers to all those I pay bills to, even a couple of funny jokes I heard that I don't want to forget.

I have to say I use Memory Keeper more than any software I owned. I guess it's because my memory is getting weaker as I get older. I even find myself placing the date and time a TV special is coming on, so I can refer to it because I don't want to miss it. I can easily delete any when I no longer need them. You can copy anything if you need to paste the information somewere.

[b] AlphaBlocks is an early learning spelling tool for very young children. I see children now at ages three and four that already know their ABC's, can print their name and show much interest in learning. This version of AlphaBlocks uses three letter words. It displays the alphabet on antique looking blocks. The blocks look like they have been played with for years which seems to appeal to my grandchildren.

A picture is shown like say "a cow" and the instructor "Alpha Bee" talks to the kids and tells them how to use the mouse to choose letters. If the correct letter block is clicked it will move above the first underscore for the word. The keyboard can also be used to enter the letters.

Alpha Bee always brags on the child and encourages them to keep up the good work. When the last correct letter is chosen Alpha Bee says "that is the correct letter, so the word cow is spelled", "C" "O" "W" while an arrow points upward to each letter. This helps them remember how to spell the words.

Alpha Bee shows the mouse with an arrow pointing to the right mouse and tells children they can click this button over any of the blocks to here what each letter is called.

My three year old grandson loves to argue with Alpha Bee, but he has learned to spell all the words.

If "Help" is clicked Alpha Bee will move the mouse cursor to each part of the screen and explain what action each click of the mouse will perform.
When you exit AlphaBlocks it will record your current position in the program and return to the same place the next time it is loaded.
When AlphaBlocks is completed you are given the option to exit or start again at the beginning.

[b] DiaBetter was written for diabetics. Diabetes is a serious disease. As a type 1 diabetic, and have been for many years, I have experienced many problems.

My diabetes seemed to be uncontrollable regardless of what I did. For a while now, I have had the insulin pump and I am doing much better.

When I was diagnosed with diabetes I was told all about sugar and to watch sugar contents. No one ever told me anything about counting carbohydrates until I got the pump. I believe if the doctor would have talk to me about carbs while I was taking the injections I could have used the information to help regulate my blood glucose level.

DiaBetter's menu starts with "Patterns". Here you can set a goal you would like to reach. If your glucose level goal is let's say "100", then you would enter 100 and save. Patterns menu also allows you to enter your glucose level each time you test. This option records your glucose level tests. You can enter up to 14 test per day. Enter the time of the test and your test results. Each test will display the difference between the test and your set goal and how much higher or lower your test is from your goal.

Your "Daily Average" will also be shown. You may also open any saved pattern date to view the saved levels to keep up with your progress.
DiaBetter contains the "Carb Book". The carb book has a table of contents/Index page where you can choose a food category.

Carb Book shows the name of the food, amount and the carb grams this amount contains. Carb Book also allows you to enter your own listing for foods the book may not contain.

Carb Counter: This option is very useful. Here you can choose a food, the amount, and calculate the total grams of carbs your meal will contain. With [color=#FF0000][i]Capo[/color][/i][i][color=blue]Master[/color][/i] you can also learn many chords, but knowing only 3 chords you can play hundreds of songs. Add one more chord and play thousands of songs. Add one more and the number is massive. The great thing about knowing only 3 to 5 chords is that with the capo you can play these song in any key simply by repositioning the capo beside another fret.
NOTE: Just because you see a guitarist use a capo does not mean they know few chords. The capo is used by professional musicians because it gives the instrument a beautiful bright tone.

Basic Capo. Here you will simply drag and drop the capo to any fret on the guitar fretboard. Once the capo is dropped to a fret a popup message will display information about what the chords will become when you make the chords with the capo on that fret.

Advanced Capo. This will take you to an area with menu options to view chords with no capo and with capo in frets 1-11. This will show all Major, Minor, Sharps and Flats. Advanced Capo also has Helpful Tips for any key you may be working on.

You may never have a need to use the capo in some of the higher frets, but by knowing what the chords will become if the capo is placed in these frets... well, you just become a much better and knowledgeable guitarist.
